more information

As we age, it is inevitable that we will experience a decline in hormones such as oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Balancing these naturally-occurring hormones and augmenting them where necessary, can have a wide range of significant health benefits and offers an effective way to treat the following symptoms:

  • Fatigue
  • Low libido
  • Sleep disturbances
  • High cholesterol
  • Anxiety
  • Dry and wrinkled skin
  • Mood swings and depression
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Hot flushes and night sweats
  • Osteoporosis
  • Poor memory

Treatment plans follow the guidelines below:

  • Initial consultation

Dr Robson will take a comprehensive history and record of your symptoms and blood/other tests will be organised as appropriate.

  • 1 week: follow-up (15-30 mins)

You will return to the clinic to review your test results, and if recommended, receive a personalised plan of prescription medicine devised specifically for you.

  • 2 months: follow-up (30 mins)

Dr Robson will review your progress with the prescribed medication and make any appropriate adjustments.

  • 3 months: review (15-30 mins)

Dr Robson will review your progress and provide you with repeat prescriptions where necessary.

  • 6 months: follow-up (30 mins)

This follow-up will entail a full review of progress, where further tests may be required and prescriptions will be issued as necessary.

  • Every 6 months thereafter: ongoing reviews (30 mins)

You will be required to have a review every six months while undergoing treatment.
